Looks really good! Gota mention your line weight is REALLY well done. Even at a glance it's so easy to tell silouetes from the finer detail, with even a slight hint of light. I should practice that more too.

Nice studies, I like that besides the fact that the cloth is really complex and has like a lot of pieces, you make it so that each piece reads very clearly in the final result

Finished watching the anatomy video. There is a lot to practice. It is easy to get confused when the body moves. Plus learned some new English vocabulary

With the new Blender version there is a new donut tutorial. I decided to give it a try. So far it is going ok. I hope I will be able to finish it.

Your notes reminds me that even though Marc mentioned it, he doesn't go into much detail about boobs, which I wish he did, as they can be quite complicated to draw right. Maybe he will elaborate further later, and well, there's plenty of material about them out there as well.

Happy new year everyone! My December work schedule was a bit chaotic so I decided to post everything at once at the end of the month. Here are some assignments :

Instead of Zbrush I kept learning Blender. Finished all parts of the new donut tutorial. It was a really nice introduction to blender and all its functions. Animating was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Poor PC had to work overtime but the results were better than I expected from a first try.

Next tutorial I tried was: Create a 3D Isometric Living Room. I liked this one a lot because after modelling every piece of furniture I finally remembered most of the shortcuts and learned how to make various simple shapes.

After this I tried another tutorial: Procedural Dragon Animation. This one was harder to follow than the other two but I learned a lot of useful things.

Yeah. I thought we were going to draw them in that pose with the raised hand. That would help a bit.

All those look great! Those 3D works look really good. I guess lighting has a lot to do with it, but it looks really polished. Would be interesting to see that dragon animated.

Ohh these look great!! Maybe I will give blender another try, my donut crashed and I lost the will to do it but I would love to make such dragon it looks soo good

Yup lighting does a lot. Honestly not having to think about light source, ambient light etc. too much was quite nice change of pace. It´s magic. I have an animation set up for the dragon but I will probably tweak it a bit more before rendering it all. It will probably take few days to finish.

While doing the donut tutorial Blender crashed pretty often for me. Mostly in the latter stages. Going into rendered view was risky at times But don´t worry too much about it! I thought I lost all progress but there is a recover function. You can recover your work quite easily or continue from your last autosave.

I think I am done with the dragon. His shiny head kind of reminds me of the lego bionicle toys :D. I didn´t add everything that was shown in the video but I am happy with what I have. The scales are stretched at the end of the tail but I pretend I don´t see it ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I noticed it after the animation was done rendering.
