Hey CB Community!

For some time I was a hermit. Living alone in front of my screen. Learning and pursuing the life of an artist. I don't know if it were insecurities that kept me from joining a forum and getting feedback outside of my litte non artist bubble, but here I am now. I am eager to learn and improve, especially in 3D art.

I am fairly new to 3D. I was doing some busts in zBrush from time to time but I startet really learning the software (and some others) earlier this year. So I have a lot to learn and I hope some of you fine people may be so kind to teach me a thing or two.

This is the first full body sculpture I did in zBrush. I learned a lot about about anatomy and zbrush in general. As you might see I still have trouble doing cloth (or armor). I don't really understand how to do that in zBrush. For the next model I will post (a low poly character) I did the cloth in Maya but I am still not happy with the result. If anyone can give me a hint or a good tutorial, I'd be very thankful.

Nice work. Welcome to the forums. The anatomy seems pretty solid. I do agree with you about the cloth. Just practice it some more.

This is not the low poly character I wanted to upload but rather my actual project. I made the goblin from scratch and I am currently figuring out how to build the leather armor. I am actually happy with the current progress but a little feedback would be nice.

For the armor I used mainly masking + extract and qmesh. I'm planning on dynamesh the armor and sclupt some details before doing the retopology.

Its been a year since my last update. I really suck at uploading my art even so I really want to be part of an art community. I'll try to better myself. For now I want to share some of my latest projects and see how far I have grown in the past year. I am happy about any feedback I can get!

I'll start with the finished goblin project. I was really proud at the time since I was only a few month in teaching myself in the art of 3D. I was also the first to graduate on my art school with a 3D project ( they thought about adding a 3D course because of it). Now I don't really like it from a technical point of few. But that only means I grew, right?

Next up I will post some new Orcs I have created. Creating orcs and goblins seems to be a guilty pleasure of mine

After creating the Goblin I attended an online workshop by Rafael Grassetti and with all the lessons learnd I created this orc.

I am still very proud of this one because I think I made a really big jump in quality compared to the goblin. Also I did a comparison of my older orcs

The next orc I made a few month later and I rendered it in Keyshot instead of ZBrush.
I here I learned to use Keyshot and also how to work with materials and produce custom spec maps in ZBrush.

So to stay on the 3D topic, I want to show the game res project I did about a year after the goblin. I am happy with the result and I hope I have improved a lot in that regard as well.

First of are 2 High Poly renders done in Keyshot.

After I was happy with the look I went to make the low poly version and uv maps in maya. The texture and map baking was done in Substance Painter. Rendered in Marmoset.

And here I go again. I forgot to post something for the past 12d but better late than never. During this time of "staying at home and not being weird because of it" I am working on a prject with a friend. We startet playing DnD using Discord and we want to sell the Adventures my friend is writing and I am doing the artwork for this projekt. Here are some of the paintings

I am not happy with the shoulder guns but I'll figure something out. I like the overall design but if I could do anything better please let me know!
