Here a piece I'm still working on. I never have much time to paint so I decided I should paint during lessons and in my breaks at work! This piece is a sketch for a school project + entry for the weekly Undefeated Champion.

Dante waking up in a strange land, finding out that sunrise brings beauty to even that terrifying place called Limbo. Hopeful to continue his awful experience through the rings of hell and before meeting the Lion at the foot of the mountain toward heaven.

I really like the poetry behind the last piece, really inspiring paired with the clean, relaxing aesthetic.
ps. Did you say this was drawn by a mouse? Amazing!

Very nice piece, and painted with a mouse... haha you either have a very big brush set or you have a gift by painting with a mouse! Nice color scheme, not to mention you pulled off a great artwork which is 80% filled with air. That's a feat by itself (;

@Aceclarkes Thanks! Happy to hear you like it And yes with a mouse or rather trackpad. Same idea.
@Bravekaptain Thank you too for your kind words. I do have lots of brushes but usually use only a few. I think I've used maybe 5 brushes for this piece. I always try to keep it limited to 5 max.

And great to see you two back on the new forums!

Another sketch similar to the first Dante sketch. A customer wanted to see how I made my paintings but I feel like I should finish this one.
Also painted with a mouse. 30 min.

Saw @Shia her last sketch for her new dolls and I had to make my own version of it. She'll turn this one in a super cute Kiger Neko

I only changed the design, It's still her style.

Kiger great to see your new stuff here!! I really love the painting from the beginning of 2016, great brushstrokes and love the pose. Works very well. I really like the doodle with the fluffy cloud creatures done with your trackpad and mouse. Very soft and so charming!

The painting with the whale turned out really beautiful and eerie at the same time.

Love the Dante paintings a lot. Especially the first one, the sky looks great. The contrast of the soft and more brighter colours work really well. And wow I love Sumi e! It's so cool you're experimenting with that style, looking forward to seeing how you incorporate it in your project. Great stuff!

P.s - The kiger plushie designs are so cute! Can't wait to see how they turn out!

@noxmoony Thank you! <3 One of the teachers suggested using sumi e for my project before choosing a style to go with and I love painting with ink and watercolours. The paper I've used for the paintings I shared before are crappy, though and makes the ink unpredictable.
Next experiment is trying out compositions in Sumi e style and edit them with photoshop. My inspiration for these paintings come from Yuki Nishimoto and Henry Li. If I stick with Sumi e for my final work I'll see how it looks with the Dante text translated to Japanese.

I'll make sure to take a look at your blog as soon as I have my WiFi back!

A lot a cool work here. The couple of Dante paintings I love; they have a contrast that is pleasing and harmonious. I really like the whale poster too, but the grain on it seems like its overdone. Keep up the great work.

@catapanoart Thank you. I'm going to solve the grain problem by giving the whale texture, too, since that's what most people have advised me so far.

The last sketch I made with a nib pen and watercolours. Trying to get new ideas.
