Painted this one with my trackpad and mouse soon after the last painting I shared.

Here's an idea I'm working on for a school subject I want to be about the deadly sins.

Deadly sins got rejected but I'll be working on it in my own free time, so the style will probably stay clean and simple. Nothing fancy and no use of tablets.
Here a picture of it halfway done.

Nice work so far, just remember to keep practicing those fundamentals and keep drawing. I really liked the idea behind the painting with the clouds as living creatures that need sleep too, such an interesting concept!! ^__^

Thank you. That painting was part of a series about a kid losing its imagination as it grew older. The one you're talking about shows his last creative memory in his dream as an old adult but ignoring it. It's hard to finish cool stuff when teachers don't know anything about the medium. ^-^"

I remember you from the pro section on the old forums, good to see you back again!

Really nice seeing all the improvment. The sculpture in particular was really really good considering it was your first try. Keep updating the blog

Haha thanks. Appreciate that. I usually sculpt traditionally a lot so all those buttons and what not in Zbrush look quite intimidating and confusing! Hope to learn lots from others by watching their process.

More stuff about the deadly sins, kinda. The whale sketch was drawn before I started the whale illustration in Photoshop.

Nice! It seems quite a few people from the old forum are here too. I think the drawing on the left there has potential. The framing and composition are all ready feeling really dynamic. ^__^

Looking really cool. I like how that boat isn't safe anywhere. There's danger in the sky as well as in the water. Kind of a romantic style/theme going on?

That looks really cool, it's just like a movie poster.
In the close up the whale starts to look a bit of a separate entity. I can't quite explain it, but it seems so clean compared to the sea and the boat.
I'm just wondering how it would look if the sail would not be transparent.

Thanks! Unfortunately I made a stupid mistake, saved a little sketch over this psd file so now I have only the jpg file left. Not sure if I have more time left to edit the sail but I'll try!
