This piece is coming out superbly! Very neat, I love the facial expression and clear design. I like the strength the lines convey on the outline of her arm and forearm towards the weapon and the way you drew the hand is excellent

i LOVE the lighting!! this looks amazing!

only critique is that the right/red eye should also have more saturated highlights other wise it looks like only her blue eye is super bright in the iris (in a good way) but if you want the blue eye to actually glow glow compared to the left and not just in the iris u might wanna have some of that glow bounce off the skin around the eyes

Thanks! I'll probably move away from it to get back on track though. It was a fun experience to try and finish it. However, I've noticed that I had a very inefficient process. So, I will focus on my draftsmanship, perspective, and painting process while trying to move on to term 3.

That turned out awesome! Good work, hopefully you're giving yourself some rest after that! That's amazing, love the gradient/contrast between the cool and warm colors. Really adds to the overall composition. Just adds to the theme and the overall mood of the piece. Awesome work! Really looking forward to seeing what else you create in the future!

Those studies are looking great! I agree with Ola, I like how you did both a more realistic study and then a stylized study for each of your faces. Thats a cool idea, help to practice another style and how to simplify the structures of the face to fit it. Keep up the good work!

I just recently came back from my trip at NC and wanted so post some of the stuff I've done.

Some shading and grimoire sketches

More practice sketches of drawing Maquia still having trouble but I think I was able to capture some likeness and made a system that I might be able to rely on to make the faces more consistent.
