Hey there, I am Lanky.

I have just started and I am really excited to get going! I am an aspiring artist who is colourblind, which has always prevented me from even trying art professionally. But not anymore! I would love to be able to make a living off of creating artwork. I went to a local university and studied Game Art for 3 years, which I can tell you, I was taught nothing. It wasn't a very nice experience and I was completely burned out from art after graduating. That was 4 years ago, and I am wanting to jump back in, hopefully this school will be a better experience!

Welcome to the forum It's great to hear that you are getting back into working on art, especially since it's on your own terms and not for school. I'm just getting back into it as well, since I'm nearly done my degree at uni.

I enjoy working in 3D as well, but lately I've been trying to focus on improving with lines and paint. It's challenging, but it's a lot of fun.

Thank you! Yeah, the fact this course is a take your time and go at your own pace setting is what drew me to it. Great to hear you're getting back into it! What are you currently studying at uni?

3D is really fun, but I find 2D is more...free? Like it's less restricting, I don't know haha. I am just pretty bad, and that's what I want to improve on the most.
