These two are my most recent pieces, learning mostly from past classes in college, as well as Marc Brunt's Youtube Academy. I've since begun the actual academy, so I'm excited to see how many changes will come as the months go on.
I will forever welcome all feedback and critiques to my pieces, as it'll help in my growth and understanding of design and digital art. So fill free to speak your mind!
This first piece is called "Vรคn" which is Swedish for a friend. Her strange colour scheme and design came to me in a dream, and I was heavily inspired to draw her as quickly as I could before memories of the dream faded. Here I practised grey scaling and further use of gradient maps. I believe I went too hard on the grayscale shading, or not hard enough. For some reason, colours seem much darker on my tablet than they do on my monitor, so it's tricky to get it right. Started and Finished in the month of October.
The second piece is called "Star Child", which is a redoing of a piece I did way back into high school. This was my first time practising Gradient Maps, and proper shading, which is why the shading is rough in a lot of places. Done in the month of September.

I can't texture hair well at the moment, but one of the bigger things I hope to improve on, as well as other textures, like clothing.
Once more, feedback is always welcomed, as well as critiques. I'll try to make the next update less winded and word heavy. Thank you for viewing!
