lookin good so far!
Hi hi, hope everyone's doing well.
I've been thinking about making Twitch emotes and badges that I can maybe sell on etsy as a side hustle. Here are some examples: (they're Attack on Titan related since I was busy watching it lol) The process of making them is pretty lenghty, since its like a different workflow than usual, but its fun to make.
I also did a random drawing of Leon from Resident Evil 4 just now to see if I can still draw faces XD
nice emotes XD
I had no idea you could sell twitch emotes. Just looked it up, and that would be a really good way to earn some extra cash. Your Leon looks awesome. I just ordered the remake and I'm excited to use the "romantic" costume
Ah I hope you enjoy it, the game was amazing, also enjoyed Ada's DLC a lot I'm going to try and have like 3 Twitch emote/badge bundles to sell cause you have to pay to add a listing but its not expensive at all.
Just finished the Anatomy 2 class, now I just need to find references of people to practice some muscles.
Currently working on an Ada Wong drawing, I'm not entirely sure how it will turn out nor if it will even be finished, but I guess we'll find out XD
This is how the drawing is looking so far, I still have a lot of clean-up to do and maybe some extra details even, then it should be done.Let me know if you guys have any feedback on where I can maybe improve something or anything.
Where' the light sources coming from? The background suggest that light are from the east but Ada Wong lighting suggest it's at the front? Just intrigued to know.
The main light source is coming from the east yes, but I'm having trouble rendering her face without it looking too muddy. I might have to play with overlay modes and different colours to see if I can make the shadows look more accurate. So for now I'd say her face is rendered, now I just need to add correct shadows later on.
I hope this is at least going more in the right direction.
looks great so far! tho maybe the left side of her shoulder and hair (left from our view) is a bit too dark? kinda blends in with the bg
Thanks for mentioning it, I'll see if I can fix it today.
Looking good, I agree with the left being dark, might be accurate but composition wise I donβt know, maybe just add a secondary light source?
I also thought the same about it being too realistic, but when it comes to art composition It's better to have another light source or something to make the art pop.I'll be sure to add that as well and I'll keep you guys updated!
Here's the final product, I've been working on this piece for about 7 days now and I'm so tired of looking at it XD.I really hope I was able to make the improvements that were recommended to me, let me know if there's anything I should maybe focus on in the future.I hope you all have a great day!
Looks great!
Thank you @patrycja.lerch!
Started with some basic muscle studies on references.
I struggled a bit trying to follow along with Marc when he was doing the back muscles since he was drawing on an female body and I currently only have ripped male bodies.
I doubt my muscles layout is very accurate, I'll see if I can come back to it a bit later when I have some better understanding of how the muscles looks like with skin on XD
