I created a new drawing inspired by the screentone techniques zleepy.gal uses on Instagram.
I'm sorry for not posting in a bit, I got distracted with this new drawing.
I have started with practicing noses and eyebrows and will post them as soon as I'm done!
Here's what I worked on:

Here are some nose practices I did.

Started a new drawing again.

Looking good, I like your figure drawings
On the 2/3rds view the nose tip would be closer to the outline of the cheek, as it is, it looks a little flat - like it’s going straight down vertically

Cheers and keep it up!

I started rendering her dress and adding some basic shading. Its supposed to be a velvet dress so I hope I got that down.
I'm not sure if the dress is to dark and hard on the eyes? If so I'd love any recommendations on how I can maybe fix it.
Let me know if there is any feedback you guys might have!

I think dress color is left to choice here, maybe experiment with saturation to see what works best for you

Shading is looking nice

Cheers

Quick drawing update:
I managed to fix the dress with @snakker's advice on experimenting with the saturation and made the shading more believable in my opinion.

Nice job, it’s looking great!

Cheers

I finished the drawing after a lot of changes
I also thought to add a background although it might be wonky looking, I wanted to experiment a little.
Now I can finally continue with my ART School classes

Yo looking good!

As for blending, so far I enjoy procreate with smudge tool using a textured brush the most. On photoshop I don’t get the smidge tool so much, it’s odd so I use more a hard opacity brush and alt clicking a lot

Cheers

I use a littlle bit of both actually.. sometimes for small things i use the blend/smudge tool... Most of the time though, for big things i sweep over it with a few strokes of the airbrush gently, until satisfactory

Example:

i use the airbrush to shade the skin around the 2:25

I still need to figure out how to use the different opacity technique, so I'll check some YouTube tutorials for it.
I'm currently using Clip Studio Paint, because I was able to get it on a one time purchase special. I'm really enjoying the software, I just need to get used to all the flashy tools 😂
Thanks for answering! 😇

Thanks for the demonstration!
I also heard a lot of people use airbrush so I'll try that out too sometime.
Not gonna lie all the possible ways of going about making a drawing is overwhelming but also very interesting as well.
Can't wait to learn more techniques 😁

Yo clip studio is awesome, I tried it out a couple of times as I am a bit of a compulsive buyer and also have it on my pc. Gotta say that the blending in clip studio is really nice and now they have brushes that allow blending color like real paints which sounds cool, only I don’t really know much about the theory of actual color blending yet XD

yess i bought CSP like 6 months before ver 2.0 came out so i got to upgrade to 2.0 for free  the animation features could be better but it works  and my fav 2.0 feature is that u can now use liquify across multiple layers!!!
