Thanks for the feedback @snakker, I'll redo it and see if I can fix it!
Quick drawing update:
I managed to fix the dress with @snakker's advice on experimenting with the saturation and made the shading more believable in my opinion.
@snakker I finally fixed the nose!
I have a question:
How do you guys go about blending? Do you use the blending tools or do you use a lower brush opacity to blend?
I still need to figure out how to use the different opacity technique, so I'll check some YouTube tutorials for it.
I'm currently using Clip Studio Paint, because I was able to get it on a one time purchase special. I'm really enjoying the software, I just need to get used to all the flashy tools 😂
Thanks for answering! 😇
Yo clip studio is awesome, I tried it out a couple of times as I am a bit of a compulsive buyer and also have it on my pc. Gotta say that the blending in clip studio is really nice and now they have brushes that allow blending color like real paints which sounds cool, only I don’t really know much about the theory of actual color blending yet XD
Looking very good!
There are some differences in the bony structure from the source material - for example the chin is a bit more bifid and has a bit if a crease in the middle on the model but the construction and rendering is looking very good
As for the rendering I think the forehead and neck at the bottom left could use a bit softer shadows to suggest the curvatures below as they are not cast shadows
Cheers
