I posted a topic a year ago, with just some Term 1 stuff (mostly from the Photoshop class), so I thought a new topic would be more... prudent haha.

Anyway, a quick introduction! So my name is Christina, but I also go by Lin (my Chinese name). I've been wanting to become a professional artist for a long time... but have found it really difficult to learn on my own because self-discipline has never been a strong suit of mine TT A TT

In any case, my goal is to get through the entire course (so all ten terms!) by March 2021! I'll be skipping some things (like the ZBrush stuff) because I really just want to focus on drawing for now. My art goal at this point in time is to make comics!

So that being said, here are some of my homework things from the Nude Figure Drawing class and the Perspective class in Term 1 (and a bonus doodle):

And here are some older homework practice things from last month or so.

Hey there! Some really impressive progress, I haven't quite gotten to the perspective stuff yet, but it seems like you're killing it!

You clearly have much more patience than I do for drawing Cylinders... haha.

Hi hi! :] And thanks! I'm glad it looks like I have patience because it sure doesn't feel like it LOL

I feel like I still have a long way to go... but maybe we all feel like that haha XD

I assure you we all feel like it's a long and never ending way to go. But I can agree, you're definitely progressing! The line quality is getting better and I love the approach you did with anatomy cylinders. I can clearly tell that it's a sequential movement poses.

Awww thanks! :] And yeah, the struggle is so real OTL

And as for the anatomy cylinders, I was drawing off of a series of photo references from BodiesinMotion.photo haha XD But I'm glad the movement is clear! :]

Looks like you have a pretty firm grasp of perspective and form, I am looking forward to seeing how your progress through the work. Welcome. :+1:

Aw, thank you! :] Though I still struggle a lot with perspective... it's something I need a lot of practice in QuQ But thanks (again)!
