These works are awesome. Nice composition and Great job placing all those elements around the main figure while maintaining the proper shading, the portrait is looking awesome, maybe add some minimal highlights or very dark areas?

Wow @Lockenheim love the lighting on this one, also your very confident in your lines awesome work. One thing I did notice with your arms is the symmetry in the lines, specifically the biceps area, it’s slight but gives off a bubbly look.Might I suggest trying to go for asymmetry, makes it look more organic. Other than that I love how clean this picture is, chefs kiss!

This is my work for the week, struggled quite a bit with the process. I try my best to follow Marc's process, I still need to work it, it is hard for me to seperate at times. Many times I wish to follow Nico advice and just paint on one layer, but I get torn. Anyways this is what I did this week. Feedback always welcome.

I don't know what I was doing with these faces, don't mind me. Need to get back to the grind on them.

Awesome stuff, loving the chef, eat or die, also really like how dynamic the poses feel, chef pose feels very dynamic, going in different directions and catching your eye with her look, I feel you got that spot on. The torso on the floaty girl also feels really dynamic, maybe the face feels a little stiff in that one for some reason. Also, not sure about the light source direction on the chef

Helooo. Here is a little help when shading stuff. Now, I'm not a teacher or anything, but I watned to help U. I hope it's usefull to u.
Basically u should use hard edge brushes when defining shapes. Soft edge brushes have a different use, but it's hard to describe. Anyways, here is a little picture, I hope it helps.

I totally understand the urge to paint on one layer (especially since for me its annoying to see so many layers) but I think at the more beginner levels for those of us who are still learning and unsure of many things its best to do multiple layers so you're not making life harder for yourself when you realise there is a mistake. Or what I do is duplicate my artwork so if I do mess up I can just go back and pretend it never happened

Dude the cooking lady is top nuts! I love her strong vibe 💪😄
One thing I noticed, the shadow on her nose looks flat. I don't know if this was intended, but if not, maybe it would help to put a highlight on the tip of the nose? :}

@Evilith Thank you so much for the help! This is a very good breakdown and is much appreciated! This makes a lot of sense, I need to find a way to do this with the process that Marc teaches. I will be paying attention to these hard transitions and thank you for pointing this out and the paint over! It is much appreciated!

Some updates for the week, progress on the pieces Im working on and a few warmups. Still working on process. Much of my week was spent studying some tutorials so I dont have those to post but this is the work I did on these pieces. I have a few changes to make after feedback yesterday and definitely want to work on breaking up the shadows for next piece! Been studying how to do it. Anyways feedback always welcome! Big thanks to Xybb for the help!

ooh the goblin girl looks soo cool tho for some reason she looks like she would look so good with big mouse ears XDDDD muscley mouse girl!!

The 2nd one is lookin good tho i think the boobs are too high and the perspective is a bit weird.

now im not good at persp but here's just my 2 cents (i used liquify and a trackpad - not on my drawing tablet rn.)

i think the perspective would look nicer if the arms were closer and if the ribs were angled up a bit (you have it kind of flatter i think?) but thats just my opinion

yes her right arm doesnt look quite right either but i used liquify lol so thats why
