Hey I'm Madwin ! Just started Term 1 today. I used to draw when i was a teenager (just for fun without any real motivation) but I didn't since this period. I'm 29 now and starting from scratch (or maybe... just a little more than scratch ?) I really admire all those artists you can find on the web, and want to do my best to be proud of my work too ! I'm really excited to begin this new journey and hope it will go well.

Awesome work! This line page brings back memories of doing it so many times lol. I thought it was my page at first lol these look just like how I started. You are doing good keep up the good work!

Some updates, day 4 !

Really happy with my lines, can already see im way more consistent on this. Ellipses... meh, cant get it, I think i need to do it again and again and again :

Didn't draw this week end, lots of IRL stuff to do, but I'll soon start the perspective class, and continue gesture on the side.

I definitely understand, ellipses can be a pain! I think this is a good exercise for ellipses. It's for a course called Drawabox, so you don't have to do all the course requirements like using fineliners. Though, I find drawing with shoulder makes it a lot easier to draw circles since you get a better range of movement.

Nice work on this room! Elipses are definitely a pain but honestly I think it may be the most important art skill I have learned, it comes back and back and back again. Keep up the good work!
