A couple finished ones from this week
Some style studies from this week
A quick colour study from this week:
Some poses practicing the (somewhat) Reilly method:
More figures after 2 weeks of covid. Male figures really are much easier to do, took me half the time i needed for the female ones lol. I think i will draw a lot more males nowAlso, I am on IG, in case anyone would like to say hello on there:https://instagram.com/maggie_parvanova
Worked some more on these portraits of my characters, I wanted to try out some perspective. I want to try and shade them arcane style
Very nice work with these portraits! I love your style. It's very clean and elegant. Oh and I gave you a follow on instagram
Thanks a lot @cedricgo , I really appreciate it š Iām still trying to develop a personal style, but itās really nice to know Iām doing something right.Hereās some more stuff from today, more figure drawing and my attempt to finish and stylise and old photo study i started a billion years ago. Iām fairly happy with the result, but would appreciate any feedback - Iām not too sure what to do with the background if anything, guess Iāll figure it out tomorrow
Quick KDA Evelynn fanart. I want to do this full color
Here it is in color. Probably not final but close enough
Looks final to me haha! It's great š
Thanks I decided to call it finished too, but you know, artist's work is never done etc
Hereās yet another portrait I did, this time i decided a re-do of one i already had done to see how my style and anatomical knowledge has changed in the past 4 years Also, some shape exercises, they donāt look much like anything yet, but this is new to me and i like how they are turning out a million thanks to @brohawx for all the guidance and critiques, itās been really helpful!
Oh yeah, and a couple attempts to do some art with my own characters š
These are very good attempts so far. Keep it up.
@gregorya thank you! I will do my best So i worked to clean up one of my charactersā design a bit, worked some more on the Carmilla, and tried out a Medusa portrait, i wanted to do one for ages. Obviously there is still detail do be added etc for all of these, but i am very happy to be doing my own stuff and not just studies š Again @Brohawx has been a real bro as always, providing his invaluable input, correcting perspective etc - thanks a lot!!
It looks good so far. I also see that the leg placement looks a little off to me. The Red Dress woman looks like the leg is much longer than the other one.
Thanks @gregorya I will check it again, might have gone overboard with the perspective šThis week I was too tired to work on the original stuff, so did a study, just some identical ladies admiring each otherās butts.A lot of effort in the drawing, quick sloppy shading, the exact opposite of what I usually do š Feeling cute, might refine later.
So I decided to render that one (most of it anyway, didnāt feel like doing the hands and feet), and started some more figures I want to work on stylisation with, not rendering. I have done this reference before i started learning anatomy, so wanted to see how differently it will turn out
That rendered grayscale figure looks so good, especially the shading on that bent arm. We really feel the volume of it. And that stylized figure looks pretty good too
Thanks a lot, @cedricgo Haven't had much time lately, but hope to finish all of these soon ^_^
