Maomao - learning to paint blog

Hi all,

Since I moved to China I decided that is now a great time to learn how to paint for real. I started painting everyday, not too much but at least 30 minutes to 1 hour daily. I want to keep the consistency and hopefully keep myself accountable if i share all the progress here.

It's always amazing to see the progress once enough time has passed, not only gives you motivation but is fun to see too.

I started 3 months ago, doing some assignments.

progress is small, but i plan to keep doing it.

Also, i will be using my ipad only for most of the time since I want to paint there!

I haven't finished it but so far I've spend around 3/4 hours on this. I was amazed by how much information you can learn by copying. I tried to do another sketch with that particular style and I could do it from imagination. I think i will keep practicing these.
