Incredible model. My favorite texture would be the one with the green lights, but I am a sucker for neon green like this, so I am biased.
Maybe reincorporate them into the blade somehow, kinda like this?

Can't wait to see the final result.

Nice, I like the idea of the circle. I tried to incorporate the light on other places but wasn't really working. I will give a try with that

For the color, I couldn't choose myself, so, as the model is now rigged, I will probably go for 3 poses to have the 3 colors in the end once the shading inside arnold is done

That's it, final result in marmoset done. I was going to do it only in arnold but I made a big mistake by updating version in the middle of the lookdev which screwed up all my shader.
Right now i almost got everything back but still some adjustement to make. In the meantime, marmoset was perfect to get an idea

PS: Marmoset viewer texture quality is quite low, haven't found out yet how to get the best result with minimum file size

And that's the final render made using arnold. Tried a different approach in lookdev.
Quite happy with the result i get in the end

Now let's move on to the next project, not sure yet what it's going to be as I have several ideas on the list. But I might go for some realistic stuff, like a portrait or something

Just started to work on my new project
Lately while doodling online I found some really inspiring portrait of soldiers and as I found myself quite obsesed by realistic portrait lately, I decided to jump on it.
The idea is not to copy an existing thing but more to translate it with a touch of star wars in it. Something like a soldier portrait after the battle of Endor.

Still quite the beginning but I started to mess around and ended up with this straight out of zbrush

Still quite generic for now but I am working on it

New wip. Based on the disney movie Atlantis. Loved it as a kid !
Got a lot of stuff to fix still before going into texturing but already quite happy with the result
