Hello fellow creators!
Thank you for stopping by

First of all I'd like to say that I already used to have a blog topic here, but it's so outdated that I'd rather start a new one that's more in the mood of my current works. This is why I have decided to start posting from where I am at right now instead of overlapping the gap I created in my absence from these forums the past two years.

So here we go. I am currently an Illustration Design student in my second year and I just started exploring textures and their effect in artworks. I am also exploring my visual language and I've a (not so) secret desire to keep my digital art background close to my traditional art.

Too be honest, I have no idea where this blog is going but I hope it'll be filled with mixed media art that'll eventually overlap. I hope you'll have a fun time, as I am sure I will have.

Before I start posting I'd like to drop some of my social media links here for those interested:

First up ''Cabin in the Woods'' acrylic based with paper cut shapes on top and markers to finish it of. This piece was inspired on Henry David Thoreau's 'Walden'.

This was an assignment where we had to imagine being alone for a long time. Eventually I went into a different direction and made a book about being alone with one of my fears, spiders.

One of the things I was never ever good at was making clay sculptures so I decided to make two based on some sketches I made. Common food could come alive into a persona/character type that still remains somewhat simple.

Acrylic on clay, finished off with some nail polish to make certain parts glossy. The clay has been attached to the wooden plate with glue.

Hello lozzzliss!

All I can say is nice work! It's fairly different than the work we usually seearound here, but I like it a lot. Keep it up

Hey!
Thanks haha, I am well aware. I just don't have any recent digital art at the moment but I'm sure it might sneak in here and there. Until then I will definitely keep posting

You're welcome! I actually don't mind the different type of artwork. Variety is nice

Two sketchbook portraits, slowly working on my linework.
