I thought about sharing some of the process this time around, lets see what folks around here think and if its of use to you?

Personally I'm all for seeing other's process, so I definitely appreciate seeing that. I love the end result! Great job!

Danke schon!!

Here's something I've been working on.
In case anyone needs, I've released my new course, for now it's in pre-order mode at my Gumroad at pre-order discount. It'll later come to Cubebrush store.

You'll learn how to create Realistic Character Design for Games, focusing on storytelling, using depth psychology and other tools.
Watch the trailer at: https://www.menogcreative.com/realistic-character-design-for-games - thanks! happy new years!

1-2 hour sketch.

I had to do something for myself between all the client work and other projects; also had to be something that's not cyberpunk or sci-fi, so it's always nice but tough to engage in the usual introspection of "What else do I like to draw besides robots...? hmmm..."

That along with the challenge of carrying the same signature from subject matter to the other, with no loss and just gain on authorship, is something overlapping with other stuff I had to do.

So after a lot drawing sessions while listening to All Them Witches & The Picturebooks, here it is.

Here is an exploration and research sketch done after a research trip to Berlengas island, there's nothing better than getting intimate with the work process and taking my time on personal projects, with the luxury of not having a deadline, I can take field trips and really get deep into knowing the subject matter. This is only a first sketch and a lot will change over time with the other images, as I'm not too satisfied with how it turned out, but liked it enough to show it.

More soon and case study going live on website later.
