Hey, I'm Minnowenemy! I have no formal education in art, only YouTube and art books I've purchased. I've been drawing for about 5-6 years now but have only been seriously pursuing study and improvement of it for around 2 years. My focus is drawing people, always been my favorite thing to draw but as I want to become a webtoon artist I have been trying to learn backgrounds and character design, without too much success on my own.

Awesome, you definitely have some nice ideas. You’re probably going to advance quickly just don’t neglect the fundamentals, work through all aspects and anything you were missing will suddenly click

Honestly very good advice for me, I definitely tend to rush things but I want to treat this like a total beginner and strengthen the fundamentals that I may have missed. Thank you!

Trying to get better at drawing circles in one go, really good control exercise. I'm surprised by how much I'm struggling with the proportions part of the class so I'll probably be working on this for a bit. This is the result of day 1 proportion measurement practice. I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Also, never understood why artists put their heads on their shoulders when measuring so that was pretty cool to learn lol.

These figures are looking very good, the one on the bottom probably came out more chunky than the model, not a bad thing but depends if it was your intention, apart from that I really like how the one on the top left came out

Thank you! Yeah I hadn't noticed and wasn't my intention, I'll have to pay more attention to the measurements. Thanks for the feedback! (That one's my favorite as well )
