Thank you! Yep it will be in full color cuz its gonna be a webcomic (though structurally it will look like a manga style comic because i'll print them after im doine - if not to sell then just for myself cuz i want a physical copy of my book )
I'll also be making 6 fully animated trailers for it (probs around 2-3 mins per trailer)
1 trailer for the main overarching story, and 1 for each of my 5 main characters cus they all have their individual goals and character arcs too.
I plan to animate it all on my own, as well as make my own music. for Vocals im thinking of making my own vocals using synthesizer v (Example here - yes i know that totally needs more tuning to not sound robotic XD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQzmPPaVYK8)
Right now for me, the main issues with this are:
1. I draw too slow
2. I can't draw good environments.
once i start getting these in line, and as i progress with my plotbuilding and worldbuilding to the point where i am ready to make the trailers then i'll start drawing those (probably after i finish all 10 terms..). (still holding off in case i have some good ideas i'd like to stick in the trailer - though now that i think about it if i make these into individual cuts i could easily swap out ideas..)
Oh i'll also make a whole artbook based on my worldbuilding which goes in detail about my worldbuilding. its kind of like a supplementary to my comics. if i end up selling these as hard copies, i'd bundle a volume of the comic with the artbook whenever a new volume comes out/is done.
I'm so impatient and want to show everyone my story hahahah but its probs not going to be ready til 10 years later cuz my plan 6 weeks before the release of the first chapter on webtoon and tapas, i debut the first trailer, 5 weeks before, drop the 2nd trailer and so on. so i need to be done with the trailers first.. (i work full time in a non art job so lets say i give myself a year per trailer, thats 6 years - assuming i give myself more headspace for plotbuilding/worldbuilding lets say a few more years. then i need to draw the comic itself with tons of backlog so if irl work gets busy i can still post my comic.)
there's so much to do hahah
but plotbuilding is the most important - after all without good plot there is no good comic.
This is the only way to "track" my progress lol - while word count dont mean much in comics at least i can see that im writing out new ideas and stuff and connecting them
That's 460k words of worldbuilding + plotbuilding + characterbuilding and im like maybe 30-35% done with the overall story. still have a lot of missing pieces to develop - the first 12 arcs are relatively well developed but the latter 12 arcs especially still need a lot of work.
Thank you for your interest though! it makes me very happy to talk about this!
