Didnt draw much this week - kinda took a mini break..

Started bulk sketching the last few bunny people...

I also named them since i was like they can be recurring side characters in my story.

(Aya is the first bunny girl i drew a few posts back.)

Since Puma and suma's names are similar imma make them sisters.

Aya and Ollie are also siblings

Aya is kind of the leader of this group (i've already added Aya and Ollie into my plotbuilding doc )

Teska was the hardest to name XD usually i just look at a character and go this guy or girl looks like a {insert name} but had a bit of a hard time naming him XD

Aight so 5 hrs later i have Elias and Suma line-art'd.. wish i could draw faster XD:

i see a potential ship here (Suma x Elias) just cus she's looking at him as if she likes him loool. usually when i draw the eyes on a character that i dont have a specific emotion to show i just let my drawing take me on the journey. ended up with suma having these eyes lol and elias is right next to her so i was like....... mmm ship? XD

from there im like ok so Puma and Suma r gonna be sisters. what would Puma think of Elias, are they good friends or do they not get along? if Suma likes Elias, does he know she likes him? does he like her back (or was he the one who liked her first or is he completely oblivious (is suma tsundere around him or does she make it known to him how she feels about him)? are they a couple now or will they be eventually via slow burn/sideplot?) XD so much to character build this is fun!

this is basically a sneak peek on how i personally plotbuild/add to my story:
1. draw a cool or cute character
2. give em a name and a story - either new story or one that fits in the story im making. currently im very invested in the story im working on so its gonna be that one.
3. see how they fit into the world, mesh with the the other characters.

Yay! Finished coloring Elias and Suma
For some reason i find that lineart is rly the slowest part XD it gets much faster when im coloring.

The lineup so far:

Almost there... 5 more characters to go then its just value check, shadows, lighting, duplicate all + gaussian blur + erase parts where i dont want blur and overall refinement...

Coloring is my fav part of the process (characters especially). its so fun and relaxing
(unless im coloring buildings lol XD)

Looking good, you’re really putting in the work on this one!

I did notice the lowest cubes, I think they are a bit off perspective. More or less I see the vanishing point somewhere in the main door from what I can tell so I think you would see the top of the cubes or straight in front unless they are rotated

thanks! i think its just that the 3rd vanishing pt is pretty low but based on my sketch of where maxus and hydra r standing.. i think ur probs right... tho they are a good but not too far distance away from the gate

I love the shading of the cubes and the fact, that each character has its own unique pose ^.^
Still I would try to put something behind the character row, to make them stand a bit out more :}

Besides that, everything is starting to come together really well 👍

Took a little break this week to focus more on plotbuilding and music making. decided to get myself motivated about finishing this drawing by drawing my 2 fav mcs (cool girl Maxus) and (cute boi Hydra)

Btw for those curious, Maxus is the leader of the Hacktectives, a Hacker run detective agency. due to Spoiler reasons, she hacked her ID and changed her name from Maxus to Cy and lives everyday life as "Cy" while at night, she messes around with exposing and bringing down criminals under her "Maxus" persona (she does wear a mask while out in her "Maxus" persona in Atlantis (the physical world) for security reasons).

This took longer than intended because i am a perfectionist especially when it comes to my main characters - even more so for my favs - Maxus and Hydra

Btw for those that don't know, Maxus's "Cy" mode looks like this - to not reveal her identity she can't use her powers in Cy mode otherwise it'd be obvious she's Maxus so she uses a custom hoversword when she gets pulled into a fight.:
