Looool not really i like cats more XD but they fit into the worldbuilding of this setting so thats why i put them here. this setting is a place called Sunnyside down in my story.
It's a place between the digital and physical world, sort of, and the bunny people guard this place on the digital world (Zionix) side.

I have a lot of different species in my story like normal physical world (Atlantis = Futuristic Earth - 3050) humans, from the digital world of Zionix there are many species such as cat people, mouse people (Raigor), rabbit ppl (Ramira), mer-shark people, harpies, etc, as well as normal coded beings and code born beings.

These buildings in the back are beacons that store a server/internet connection's data. im thinking of designing a few building shapes for that and just reusing those so i may redo the buildings since they dont look scifi enough - or maybe eventually i won't care and get lazy and leave it as is lmao XD

Drew one of the rabbit ppl yesterday:

Ended up making the bg bigger (scaled up) so that i dont have to shrink the bunny ppl down too much cus they do get pixely when i do...

Today, been trying to move past burnout this past week lol (apparently i cant handle 3 straight weeks of 5-6 hrs of plotbuilding a day outside of a 40 hr work week smh.)

yes but the world was built for my story which ive been working on for the last 4-5 years. i only recently since drawing this actually add the bunny ppl in there before there were cat people, mouse people, kraken people (rare), harpies, spider people (rare), mer-shark people. since drawing this i was like i already have like 1 rabbit person (in the story - before i drew this) might as well add more to create the species otherwise its weird to have just one rabbit person in the story lol #worldbuilding

Hmm ill take a look and try to fix that.... kind of hard to fix after already coloring but ill give it a try :3

Thanks!! haha yes that's Mal and she's based off malware and is a bio-engineered assassin so very dangerous :3

Maxus is super OP in my world but even she can't win against mal (at least for maybe the first 1/4th of the story.)

I'd say of the main characters, power-wise the strongest is in this order:

Mal (SUUUPER OP)
Maxus (Super OP)
Hydra (kinda OP)
Mouse / Alis (they both are kind of lower leveled)

mouse and alis being higher level than mal? haha nope maxus is more likely to be stronger than mal. but maybe in the later arcs maxus will catch up and be on par with mal.

mouse and alis.. well i cant imagine them being that strong

i'd say maybe hydra will be close on the power spectrum to maxus and mal tho.

alis is a sheltered rich kid at first who starts to learn more about the world. shes pretty naiive but learns to not be "too nice" later on as that always gets her and cheshire into trouble haha (cheshire is her cat-boy best friend)

haha yes i'm planning to have 6 trailers. 1 for the overall plot and one for each mc.

i'm also planning to release them one at a time 6 weeks before the debut of the comic - tho the story and comic probs wont be ready til like 10 years later cuz i work full time in an office job so i work on my project when i can but i also draw kinda slow lol and i still have a lot of worldbuilding and plotbuilding to do... but its very fun! I love working on my project!

I also plan on making an artbook to go along with the comic and am considering selling them in a bundle lol and oh the merch i might make.. thinking about it makes me excited but i still have a very long way to go lol

Ok finally worked on my Perspective drawing some more lol

Finished coloring this bunny girl yesterday.

Drew 1 more bunny person today and messed with the bg some... (Takes me about 6 hours to draw one person from sketch and lineart to color.. i have 8 more bunny ppl and 2 mc's left to draw )

And Now i have a count of 3 bunny ppl!

While i'm still on Term 2, I did watch the clothed figure class from Term 3. (Idea is watch some vids from term 3 while finishing hw for term 2.. i can't wait to get to the personal projects! but gotta develop dem skillz first lol still bad at bgs atm... but makin a bit of progress i'd think..)

I really like the shading on the shirt tho, this was after i watched the clothed figure video

did some Beacon concepts... idk how people just make building shapes.. i can make characters just off of a nice one line description but i can't for the life of me make a cube into a building (anyone have tips on how to make creative building shapes?)

i think B is a bit too bright but at the same time i like how it glows more..
A is also kind of nice but at the same time.. not as bright...

For some context, this is a place in my story called Sunnyside Down. It is protected by a glowing barrier and guarded by Rabbit people (Ramira Clan)

For the samples, I'd say I like B more, bc it separates the BG better from the foreground :}

yeah I like your characters. pretty fun. For the background though, I'd suggest moving them or the buildings off to the side so they aren't lost in the background. One method of checking that is to zoom really far out of your piece and check to see if you can still easily tell where the characters might be.

Like this:

You can see the one in the middle pretty easily, but the other two are lost.

Im not done with the bg yet tho theres going to be a lot more buildings behind them after all that's where all the beacons are and there are millions of beacons (going to try to represent that as efficiently as possible but buildings are hard so im falling back on drawing the characters first lol)

But thanks for the advice! i'll keep that in mind and see how i can make it more contrasted.

@prinzmoana eyyy thanks haha yes they all have different personalities but i havent rly plotbuilt them or rly given them names yet XD - i will when im done with this drawing tho XD usually how i create characters is i draw a cool character and think they're super cool and want to see em again then i give em a name and stick them somewhere in my story where it makes sense to stick them

My original first bunny girl will probs be called Aya.

Worked on buildings today.. didn't draw for a few days since the thought of drawing buildings made me feel like that's going to take a lot of effort that i didn't feel like i had lol

Finally went and just did it

Didn't like the building at first lol...

And preview of the 2nd building. probs wont draw any more and am just gonna duplicate and shrink these into perspective or use their silhuettes to fade em into the bg or something..

Guess i just can't draw buildings without relying on other ppl's brushes :3

Maybe you can try to push the contrast between the characters and the background.
