Hi Mitsuki
I stan for no fur. They're cute and cuddly as it is. Did some fan art below too. And a bit of practice for wings xD

On the side note, hopefully you work your values and contrast on your art. That beam, where your characters are in place, gain too much focus more than the characters (if that is your focal point) or even the gate. Keep in mind the values for Fore, mid and background during your construction. Don't put too many details rather feel the mood of the art first.

omg ur fan art is SO cute!! even better than my original XD i love the full fluffy wings!

i'll do more value work once i get the rest of the characters drawn cuz i still have to add lighting and shading to most of the characters and creatures

i may keep the beam that bright cuz it draws ppls attn to it since its the pov of ppl from the bottom looking up but ill keep in mind where i want the focus to be

That animation was really cool
As for fur or no fur, I'd say no fur or fluffy fur, maybe just a hint of fur instead of fur all over the outline, or fur that crosses the outline, like intersecting lines, to hint the fur is there.

So I ended up going back to the way i drew it in 2021 - with lineart.

This one will be sitting on a bunny girl's head

This one is roll falling off a slope cus slippery but she has wings so she'll be fine lol

The only one that is really flying is the one on the left lol (will add motion blur later)

the one on the right is landing confidently (will add shadows later)

And this little guy is shyly landing his "feet"/fluff just barely touching the thing he's landing on. perhaps his first few times flying and landing. hes a smol little dude

Question.. How do you guys paint motion blur? like i can animate it, or lineart it with motion blur lines but when it comes to coloring it, i am at a loss for some reason as to how to do it! It just looks weird to me no matter what. which possibly ties in to me not being able to color hard shadow cuz it looks weird to me XD

would greatly appreciate any tips!

I think C and E are close, but no need for the wings "phantom image" at the sides, probably just the closed wings with the blur. Now, I'm no expert, and haven't tried this myself, but most of what I see in painting is kind of like photography and to show motion in photography you simply use a longer shutter speed so that you can see that blur from the motion

Righty o another bunny girl done! the perspective here was a little complicated but it turned out nicely!! i see the Art XP go up when comparing my initial sketch to my final (yep i know the contrast between the chain and the bg is meshing together but at this point im just like eh XD)

(btw the sig is only there so i can put it on ig lol it wont be there as part of the overall pic.)

I love that you drew the whole body despite us not being able to see the majority of it, lets you know that everything is in correct proportions.

Awesome seeing all that process that goes behind the figure making. I second @CYP2C19's comments on making the whole figure despite being hidden, very cool and very useful

The only things my limited art brain can critique in this case are the hands and feet. I think given in this figure as most of the figure is hidden, they are even more important, so I would probably find a way to exaggerate or accentuate curves on the feet, maybe a slightly more dynamic boot design? and on the right hand, I would erase the upper part of the line that separates the third and fourth digits

atm im not rly good at drawing shoes yet XD so i'll probs tackle that in the future but maybe not in this painting but thank u for the complments and the good tips!
