I put my Character in a new pose just for fun, and did some gesture drawings.

I also did some perspective practice and tried to work on my room assignment, but I probably will start a new room, because I suck at perspective 🤪
The one I started initially was already to complicated for me xD

Whatever the more practice, the better ✨

I've tried one variation for the sickle clasp :} Will definitely try the other ones too.

Besides that I did focus on 30 sec and 60 sec gestures today 😄

Here is another variant, with a little ( plant? ) creature that holds the sickle :}
He can walk/jump around with his big forearms, when he sleeps he hardens.
Tough he is relatively big, his weight is very little because he consists of plant material.

Besides that, I've worked on my character ✨

I thought about the idea with the light rings again, but it wouldn't fit the lore 🤔
So I decided to work more on the face and proportions.
Maybe settle on the creature solution, but not quiet sure yet :}

Also for your gestures, would you happen to have any advice for them? When I do 60 second gestures, I only feel as if I have enough time to make a slightly more advance stick figure instead of actually doing what you're doing.

I'm not exactly sure if it's helpful xD, but the way I do it is as followed:

1. Most of the times I start with the line of action, then shoulders, head and limbs ( just as joints and lines). Sometimes I start with the head > action line > shoulders,…
2. when I have time left I add volume

I try to use as few lines as possible and if possible I avoid boring, straight lines. For the body as a whole, I work from simple lines to more complex shapes.
What helps me a bit is to let go of the idea that a arm is a arm, or a leg is a leg, I just focus on the shapes I see :}

For the proportions I look at the reference, especially at the joints ^^

The other thing I should mention is that I do gesture drawings for the past... 3 years or so (on and off) xD
So I guess it's also about simply practising it regualry :}

Nevertheless, today I will focus mainly on perspective and getting that room assignment done xD
