My first Animal! Help!

Hi people! I'm new and I would love some help with my first animal, I'm trying to create a base mesh for a wolf project I'm starting. It's a project for groom but I want a good base to work from, however it's incredibly hard to find the reference for wolves without fur. And I'm struggling with the silhouette as usually the majority of a wolfs volume is in its fur.

Any advice outside of looking at general dog anatomy, the musculature seems to be fairly different in wolves from your standard domesticated dog.

I think even though a wolf and dog anatomy is different, it's also similar. Other than dogs, look at lions or even horses. Look at animals that are similar and adjust things.
Analyzing reference and doing a study maybe in 2d might help.
To me this is a good start. Try Pinterest for reference. Hopefully this helps.
