I...really hope this large pic doesn't mess with the post um...

Anyway! I'm Xenith and I'm new!
I have these four characters in their own poses but unfortunately I can't figure out how to adjust them or how to place them in a way that flows. I also want to emphasize their heights compared to each other, especially the fairy child in the center who is casting magic of some sort, likely water magic.

Here is their little height comparison pic:

Yes this is BotW, and its not anything I'm profiting off of :stuck_out_tongue:
Just a little fan project to practice with Clip Studio Paint which I recently got.

Thank you!

At first glance, the idea of putting a small child (who is on the left) in the arms of the big guy on the right is begging for attention

Hi, welcome to the forums!

I personally feel this area is a bit problematic

as there is a strong tangent between the tip of the arrow and the edge of her arm. Also it kind of looks like he's shooting into her armpit, which of course would be sorted out with shading, but it's better when things flow clearly from the start.

Another thing, this is the way my eyes were lead.
You use strong lines in your composition (which is great) but they should be used to direct the attention throughout the piece and towards you main element on the top. Right now they are leading away from the canvas, and separating the top half from the bottom half.

But I have to say, what a piece! I do hope you will work on it some more. The characters look great and the symmetrical composition on the two characters on the top is really selling the whole deal. Nice work!
