Hello colormusic, I hope it is okay that I made a (very) quick overpainting to illustrate my thoughts. First of all: I really like the colours and the mood here, and also we have a nice story going on here. To give the image more power, I would choose a more flat perspective. You can sell the right shore even better, because now you can seperate them with different levels (like you already did with the mountains in the bg). Also I would make the ark way way bigger, they all want to go through it, so make a monument out of it. I even brightened it up and gave it another colour. So now it pops out, you can guide the viewers eye. They will look on the ark first, and probably to the guy on the boat. I hope my comments helped a bit,
