Hello,

I love that there is the possibility for doing Art Blogs with the combination of Drag and Drop here on the forum.

SoI thought it would be cool to try it and use it as what the name is telling you, some sort of a blog. Next to Cubebrush's Art School I'm following some courses on schoolism and the content of both is amazing. Color is being a pain in the ass for me and that's what I'm trying to improve on the most next to my character Design. Being able to design environments is something which I want to do too, but it's not really my focus. My dream is to me to be a someday a professional Character Designer. Slowly but surely I will get there

Here are some assignment I've done for my schoolism homework. Critiques are always welcome, of course. As for the painting, the drawing was giving and the task was to color it.

I took my perspective assignment and painted it with different color and light. It took me really long and was quite tedious. Color is certainly not one of my favorite things ... yet!

Ok, I;ve drewn this expression sheet twice... If Photoshop is saving and in right THAT second your computer crashes you can start over again. I'm used t saving every 5-10 min manually, but because of the crash I could just save about 10% of my piece with a recovery app so that many many hours of my Sunday were just lost. Anyway, I changed a lot on my second pass and now I'm much happier with it.. yay :). I have to change some faces on my characters in action I've posted recently though, I noticed they are not looking quite the same.

Back to color ^^. This time with specific emotions which I was trying to hit. Critiques are very welcome!

And here is the Character lineup from "El Zapato", one of the given stories on Daniel Arriaga's course on schoolism. What a great course. I'd recommend it to everyone who's interested in Character Design for feature film. As to my lineup, I'm actually quite happy how it turned out. Of course I'm always open for feedback

And another fun character design. " Demon Bellydancer on the prowl". I tried to challenge myself here, because I usually don't do that. The result is okay, not my favorite, but if it's gonna take many many more not so good designs to create as crazy characters as I could ever think of, so it be.I always appreciate critique too, thanks. :)

Here are some value thumbs for a finished piece I'll be painting in the next time. One of those. Which one do you think I should take to a finish? Thanks for the answer in advance.

So I picked Number 4, the one with the wolf an did color comps for that one now. I think I'mgoing to go with the fourth one to a finish. What's your opionion on those color comps? What one would you pick?

Here I go again, finally ... I've took some pictures of Jack Nicholson, drawn some charicatures and then tried to make a character with his personality. Hopefully it turned out that way lol
