Oy it turned out GREAT!
I'm not sure how to word it, but it just seems so much more... "clear" than other pieces you have done before. Like, the lineart is very well weighted and defined, The shadows in the dress have much more clear contrast.
If there was anything to nitpick about it woud probably be the folds on the upper part of the dress, while the middle and lower part has a really nice weighty feel to it, the upper part doesn't seem to have much "weight" or "form". The lips also feel a bit too perky for my personal tastes.

Overall it look REALLY good, and the BG also gives it a really nice textured feeling, espcially to the gradients.

Are you planning to do one like this for every inktober day...? (I keep forgetting what everyone's plans are, but given all the sketches you have... is that the case?)

Thank you! It probably looks cleaner because I had a lot of fun with this and I was not trying too hard to have it clean. And it is easier to work without colors.

I used ref for the bottom part of dress and not the top part so that might be the case. I lost ref for it and didn't want to waste time searching for another one.

I am planning to do maybe 3 more like this at least the digital ones. The one on paper will be different and simpler.

I am going to redo this portrait so I inked it. Apart from weird neck and some messier parts it looks pretty nice. I have finally found a pen I like but it needs a bit time to dry before painting over it. Golden pen has funny nib so I need to work it out.

Couldn't think of anything for 'dodge' prompt so I started doing 'bounce' which was also problematic. I came up with bouncer. I like this fellow. Bouncer led to dodger. I realised I never drew a child. This faces is just weird

I struggle with sizing and putting things in space on paper. You cannot move stuff around and change its size so you have to think about it earlier

Agreed, paper can be more unforgiving than digital, but I guess it teaches you to be more deliberate with your marks

Very nice, the features in general turned well, only the right eye looks a bit weird, I think it's not clear where the lower lid is.

What I find most problematic with physical is that you can't "flip". I find I flip a lot to identify misproportions digitally. The closest workaround I've found is to take a photo of the physical sketch and flip in on my phone. Kinda works, but I mostly work digital.

The real ink does give it a nice texture feel that would be hard to replicate digitally though.

Thank you @snakker! Working on paper does teach you to think before doing anything. I remember when I was doing figure drawing on 100x70cm paper and then instructor walks in and tells me to move everything to right side.

Colors are pretty challenging.
I like your warmups of the mushrooms and plant studies and the rock formations.
I like your sketch of dream.
The spider sketch looks great, the web background looks pretty good as well as the character in the dress.
The portrait looks pretty good and the sketches look like they're coming along nicely.

Dream is inked. I messed first one and messed it even more trying to fix it so I started over.
I realized shadows from cloud should be on the other side once I finished. Some small mistakes were painted with white gouache which is whiter than paper. At least it is not seen on scan. Oh and scanner works.

Turned out really good! The hatching in general looks really nice all around but especially where it defined the muscles around the neck, face and chest.

I'm really linking this whole inktober thing. I think I have a strong preference for attention to lineart and the BW contrast. Looking forward to the rest of the pieces.

Nicely done!

Composition wise, for some reason I think there is a bit too much negative space, so my eyes tend to go into the white and focus is taken away from the figure’s face

Regardless, good stuff!

Here is path. I am not super satisfied with it but it is not bad either. It was pretty hard to read just with lineart so I wanted to add some grey with marker. Marker died. Every marker I touch dies after one use. Well it added some nice texture which is not even visible on photo or scan. I also added some pencil

Messed up fog and I havn't touched composition yet. I like cloud that now I noticed weirdly covers rocks in background. Maybe I will figure out something later

Impressive how it is done only with physical tools. That gray scale really makes it easier on the eyes.

The stone sructures look good, but it feel like the fog could benefit from a bit of direction and use of high contrast instead of lines to indicate it's prescence. There's a neat trick where you increase the contrast around it to indicate there is fog.

Something like this:

I can't imagine this to be easy to try on physical though.

Thank you! Such effect is not hard to achieve. I just really didn't want to touch water because I tend to get very loose with it. I could try it but I am afraid I will ruin it. I will practice a bit to see how it looks maybe try do another one
