So I tried fixing path and ruined it. I am not touching water again. I think I will do the rest digitally. One pen wasn't waterproof. I tried to save it with white gouache but I hate it. I did one today but I am not satisfied with this either. I think I was trying too hard to make it environment. It is just not my thing. I came up with another idea but I won't be able to finish it today

Inked dodge one. I don't like this one too. I will think about this one tommorow. I know that it is dodger but it doesn't show it. I didn't even know that it has 'trickster/slyboots' meaning until I started working on this prompt

Despite all of this I did sketches for further prompts and I really like them. I think I will just put the earlier 'path' one in my stories and move on. Or/and make the one I want tommorow.

Hey, you tried, and that's how we learn to make better art. I'm in a similar boat in that I'm not entirely satisifed with the piece I'll be uploading later today (you already saw it, just the one with the guy chilling in the grass, it just feels to plain), but it's still part of the journey, so we'll just make the next one better.

The kid ink looks really nice, and I bet it was good practice. The pants texture by hatch is a nice detail.

this other path piece does look better. I personally just like things that are more "clear" and easy to digest at a glance. Is that intended to be like smoke rising in the distance?

Thank you! You convinced me to post it. The point of inktober is not to make really good pieces every day. Be consistent and learn from mistakes

Kid was interesting because I rarely draw them. Shapes are just different.

At first it was cloud but it is smoke.

I decided not to do every single prompt for inktober. Just to keep my sanity. I can do the other ones when there will be a time for them

Woke up with a fresh mind. Need to work on healthy behaviour. Keep hydrated and leave home more often. It should help. It is easy to neglect the basic needs and it can heavily affect mind

Started inking Goddess of Fortune. Something switched in my head. I hated drawing hair but this was just a pleasure to do. Need to figure out dress and fix hands. Her right one is really small.

I know what you mean. Been having to slow pace a bit to get a bit of mental breathing as well.

Goddess of fortune is looking good! her right hand seems unusually small though, or maybe it's just the angle? Hair looks very pretty though!

Map - I wanted to make a mapmaker but decided to keep it simple today. My hand slipped while doing forest so it has void inside. Spent way more time than I intended to. It just looked flat so why not shade it with pencil a bit... but it looks nicer this way. Coastline probably looks weird

Update Enlarged hand. Bottom part needs to be cleaned a bit and then background. I really like that dress

Isabela from Dragon Age for 'golden'. I was reading dragon age comics and her jewelry fits. It is not my favourite angle to draw. I always struggle with mouth-chin area. I smeared a bit of ink on accident so I tried to make it work by this fancy line

Oy it looks great! chin looks perfectly fine to me! I see the smudge but only because you mentioned it xD otherwise it just seems like paint from the piece.

I am skipping todays inktober prompt. I was painting walls and my wrists need rest. One room is painted the rest is waiting...

It is done! I really like how it turned out. It looks much better than spider one.

It is fortune so I thought I would make coins in gold and then I added it to ornaments too. Best part of the wheel is covered. Put color in background so It doesn't hurt eyes so much and character stands out more. I am going to color it soon

I fell in love with this style and I enjoyed working on lineart. Such backgrounds will need some practice. I need to get comfortable with using guides and rulers

Toad and Bounce

I can't stop inking today. Messed hatching on toad on some parts but it is getting better I think. I know I said I will do the rest digitally but I had these sketches. I still struggle with arms. On sketch it looked fine... and left hand looks weird. But I like these two
