For the perspective assignment i just followed marc's instructions, but i did a really resumed version of it for you. But i do recommend to follow along Marc's class about it, he goes way more in depth on the subject. Hope this helps though.

Been quite busy lately, but i managed to do the assignments (almost) everyday.

Gonna take the opportunity of this post to wrap it up term 2 and to show what i made on the past week. So brace for a looong post.

Week 7

It was a very busy week, I only did a few hair studies. I was inspired by @Kaz_0 way of doing them, so I wanted to try it for myself, it was really fun.

Week 8

Daily"ish" Gesture

Only did a few of them because... yes.

I feel like i'm getting better on doing those and the usual anxiety i felt when i had to do them is mostly gone, still don't like to do them tho.

In comparison here's one i did on the end of last year. IMPROVEMENT.

I would recognize that ugly son of a gun anywhere... it's me!!

To compare, here's the one i did on week 1, looks like improvement to my eyes, noice.

Oy all these are really amazing! That demon head looks really scary, especially with the high contrast in the red and bright background.

Comparing your first work, I'd say one big gain is that lineart looks more refined now. there seems to be more attention to detail (like the cross hatch and the eye rendering) and there's better use of line weight (like the difference in the lines around the nose).

Kinda looks like you also let your hair grow a bit more.

It did! But unfortunately my boss did not appreciate my glorious hair, so no more bulky hair for me

Just realized that week 1 of term 3 is a absolutely huuuuge amount of work, probably gonna need more than a week to do it.

Gonna separate this week's post in a few so it is not a huge post at the week's end. Only managed to do two clothed figure studies so far, here it is.

Did i spent way to much time rendering all the figure rather than focusing on the clothing? Yes, yes i did.

Looking great so far! It’s definitely too much for a week! 😂
I think the first figure was a tough choice as it’s not clear how the light hits the folds on the jeans, i think darkening the bottom of the folds on the back would sell them better and the curve on the posterior aspect of the left arm is off

The second figure is looking great, folds look spot on!

Yeah, i figured that, since the ground was pure white, there was gonna be a huge amount of bounce light on the pants, but, looking at it now, i probably went a tad overboard XD

I'm seeing that just now, nice catch! Goes to show the importance of the sketch phase, since it was off form the start. Thanks for the feedback, i really appreciate!
