I love this landscape picture. It's a soothing composite and makes you want to breath in the forest air.

I'm not sure, how you blurred the background. The blurr has not much gradience from the front to the back.

@Norma True, the mountains and the trees still look a bit too sharp there- next time I work in a background I'll establish a depth hierarchy so the elements are blurred accordingly. Thank you Norma!!

Some studies for anatomy 1! I think my biggest issue with drawing heads is setting the right proportions and guidelines to place the features. I'll take some extra time figuring those out.
I still have to practice drawing eyes and mouths, looking forward to it!

More Anatomy 1 stuff!! Found this absolute gem of a video earlier today: https://youtu.be/DwC-4TEde_4. I highly recommend it as a complement to the Loomis method and for a better understanding of the planes of the face! Oh, and if you wanna draw stylized characters with diverse head shapes.

I just noticed the Weekly Study Companion Guide™️ (a godsend!!), I'll definitely use it to structure my studies moving forward! I haven't checked the entire list but my next move (probably) is to practice and study portraits in more extreme angles... and to learn even more about the structure of the face. Hope there are even more ways to learn this in the guide!

Nice! That Cammy fanart came out absolutely amazing, I love it! The perspective on the witch student is also nice, but I think something is off with her right knee
I really like the color choices on both of these

Great job on these!
I think that student's right knee should be more inside and foot would be outside then in this position; more like a stright line, now it looks curved a bit and like it bends the other way. Or the knee can be twisted outside with bended leg. You can try standing in this pose and see how your leg look (i'm not leg expert). I hope it helps and you understand what I mean

The colour really stands out! Remind me of some of Andy Warhol work.

The perspective of the leg in the 1st piece looks weird and uncomfortable so maybe draft the pose with no camera angle and then apply perspective to it?

Seems that leg is in a very unnatural position, I'll make sure to double check my reference and analyze the pose by replicating it in less drastic angles like you mention. I'll fix the piece as a whole and post it when it's done ;D

Also I'm very flattered that you're liking the color schemes!! Ty! Now that you mention it, it reminds me of Andy Warhol too- And since we're on the topic of pop art, I may add some interesting patterns too, seems fitting for this pic!

Some assignments for Term 1, week 4! Made these from memory so they may be off. But I'll double check my notes tomorrow so everything's in order next time~

Okay I'm going to do the exercises 3 times a week at most so I don't burn out lol
Next time I'll draw the models from memory (I checked the reference this time) and I'll practice object rotation with stationary points.
Now... after doing some practice, it's time to work on some personal art! :)))

Okay it's done!! I felt like painting over it, and I'm happy I did! Thanks to everyone who gave me feedback, I think the legs look more decent now! For now... I'll move to other pieces. I learned a lot with this one.
