Actually it's cool idea, I even thought about connecting swords to the pelvis with cables to power up swords with some energy and give them some more momentum with jets built-in but water is not a great friend of electricity so I am still fighting myself if there should be any cables outside the mech

I think that you could add some even tinier details to convey the scale, I don't know like an opening panel with a handle to convey better how much is bigger than a real people.

I agree, it needs much more smaller shapes to look "built" and not just "made" but mech design is so hard, especially when you do this for the first time xD I am drawing and erasing all the time </ 3

Thanks Vika! Actually I have made an armor on the guy I have sent Marc for review but I have also a feeling legs are a bit too short so I will just elongate them a bit torso is fine I guess - elbows are on the height of last ribs and hand can cover gems xD

Maybe the crotch landed too low when you modeled armor? Also one thing I noticed, it's better to do exaggerated proportions for characters with armor. Otherwise they end up short/bulky.

@WeirdOwl that could be a thing, I will take a closer look when I get back to it, because zbrush is like my addition for drawing, definitely not going to be a 3d artist but it is really helpful for learning structure

I am also back on my marine profesor lady, made a rough sketch for a portrait of her, let me now if there is something that bother you because I am not the best at portraits

I have made some progress but I am not sure if lower hair fit to the top hair

I would agree. May I ask if you really need the lower portion? If so then I would reflect that wavy tentacle nature to a degree.

I was thinking in the beginning about having only top one but with the scarf on the head and without lower hair she looked like after chemiotherapy [*] But it makes me really happy you mentioned tentacle nature because she is a professor researching marine life so I wanted hairs look a bit like octopus

(Insert Homer Simpson "WooHoo!") It absolutely reads as tentacles. Great job. As far as the chemo look I strongly disagree. As long as her hair is coming out the top you should be able to avoid that. It'll look more like an alternative hair option.

@BadRooster thank you! And I know it can look nice on some people without "bottom hair" under the scarf, but look at that

maybe not that sick with the smile, but at least 20 years older xD

still room for improvement, but I like it much better now I will try to make it a bit better tomorrow before final touches.

I really like both of them. Maybe the first is her business hair. She tucks it up when she hits the grindstone or kicks butt. Either one you choose, I don't think you can go wrong.

thanks bro! I almost finished loose hair version but when I will have more time I will try to develop tucked up and maybe one with totally loose hair as well

Peter I like the tentacle hair! Fitting for the job? Color scheme is really nice too. Maybe check the ear size and the glasses (are the frames supposed to be curving slightly?).

Thanks Vika! Aren't all correction glasses curved because lenses are curved as well? When you mentioned ear I think now it is a bit too small, yep?
