I've only just discovered CSP has these tools like the fool I am
I like to find the horizon line and vanishing point as it turns out
I ad 2 point perspective practice
Did my Term 1, One Point Perspective Sketch!
Reference Included
The perspective looks on point, only the top part of the glass window on the right looks a bit odd, as if it is a bit angled towards a different V.P., other than that everything works. And is such a pleasing piece to look at, good job.
Thank you!Yeah I see what you mean about the glass windowI was using only one perspective point, But I couldn't get it to look rightI definitely am gonna keep at it. I might even go back to this sketch again as I really want to add a more modern fantasy element to it!
2 Point Perspective sketch for Term 1 assignment

I added extra gesture lines for the movement of the limbs
More Gesture Drawing assignments from Term 1
Nice practice, good accuracy in placement of chest and pelvisI am not 100% sure I understand some of the curves you draw on top of the figuresCylinder practice is a super useful exercise, if you ever wonder about the cylinder you can get more accuracy by first making a box in perspective and draw the cylinder within, or use a cylindrical object at home and close one eye when you look at it
Cheers
Thank you!Currently doing more cylinder practicesThe added curves are for limb flow. It's a practice of another art teacher I was close with. It's a habit I personally find useful for me
Wasn't for going for accuracy in size, but just the pose and gesture, which I think I did pretty well despite the initial gesture line not aligning with the spine. But when Aligned with the photos they came pretty close.
Great job on the cylinders!
Proportions have so far been the most difficult, mostly because it's the most technical part.
I definitely went over the 30 min mark with all these quick 1 min gesture drawings XD
Doesn't perfectly align, drawn a little too broad and out of proportion, Have a long way to go, but I really like it so far
I played with "connect the dots" too. I rotated the template in different directions so that I could also practice horizontally and diagonally. (I was a complete novice back then.)
These gestures are looking really good!
Haha! Glad I'm not the only one
Thank you!
