Hi all,

Recently, I am painting this image, started from scratch sketch, and then now it's this :

It miss the highlight from the lava on the character and some details to be polished, but it's on the good way.
But I am asking if I miss something, on the anatomy for example. I construct the body with modules, and to me it's looks good, but I'd like to have other opinion.

So let me know your thoughts ! Thanks =)

So I corrected the right legs who looks a bit weird, but I'm still not sure. I think I need to rest to have fresh eyes tomorrow.

I would really appreciate somebody's help to know if I'm going on the good way for the anatomy.

So here is the final version :

I finally corrected against the legs, I think it's good now.
Don't hesitate to tell me your thoughts and suggestions !

That's a nice illustration! I think the main feedback I would have is about the lighting. The main light in the cave is the little baby phoenix (which is really cute!) So things close to him should be really bright, but right now you have some inconsistency as the face is lit very brightly compared to the arm and hand that are much closer the the phoenix.

Also and this is more of a preference I guess, I'd make the edgelight (for example the lighter edge on the cape on his left shoulder) more towards a blueish color to reflect the color of the sky as, technically, that's the sky who would cause that light. I would also add some on the hair too!

I did a very quick and rough paintover, but hopefully it will help you make sense of what I said

I hope this helps!

Just a quick tip! Maybe if you make the background much darker it would make it even more interesting for the contrast, and the phoenix would pop up much more!

Hi all, sorry for the late answer, my computer was on repair.

Thanks for your feedbacks and advices ! Yeah, I see and agree for all, I'll see if I correct this one or just move to another one, let's see !
