Continued with roughly creating the different armor pieces and the hair (Some parts are still missing). I decided to create an original character rather than Link. So I worked from a sketch from my sketchbook that I found interesting and fitting for what I already had. Next is the rest of the outfit and then detailing.

Did some more concepts mainly of the skull bracer. Probably taking the design a bit further than originally planned.. Hope to continue sculpting soon

Hey there, been a little busy with other stuff recently and kind of forgot to post on social media in general.. I want to revive this blog though. Hope you are all doing well!

This one I finished recently. Tried some new stuff with the background and overall colors and learned alot in the process.

Also been starting to work with charcoal. I really like the process so far. I'm having a little bit of a problem with detailing tho. Any tips appreciated.

Also the sculpt / 3D project isn't cancelled. I just had some things coming up that were more important. I'm currently thinking of switching to Blender for sculpting as my zbrush trial months have expired and it's kinda expensive..

That illustration looks really good. Very nice rendering! And I know they're a bit older, but I also really like those charcoal portraits you posted. They have a lot of life to them.

Thanks @cedricgo ! The charcoal images were really fun to make! Definitely going to make some more in the future. They are a good practice too..

Recently been playing FF9 again and thought I could share this WIP of a painting of Garnet and Bahamut I'm working on. Right now I'm experimenting with the values and how/where to direct the viewers eye.. Probably looking for some references next, to get a better feeling of where I want to go with this image. Opinions are also very welcome : P

Nice work - I especially like the recent faces you posted. Those studies very much display the stylization of your characters. William Defoe as a hobbit anyone? Spawn of Baggins and Green Goblin?

I like it. I like the shapes in the hair (and the colour) feels like it would make a good reference for someone sculpting a stylised 3D model.

Finished this painting today. I tried to be a bit more reserved with the colors here. I#m not 100% happy with it, but I learned a lot in the process. Hope you like it!

I think it looks great! The muted colors work really well. It fits the calm and introspective aspect of the character.

Thanks @cedricgo , glad you like it. Been a bit uncertain if the colors are a bit too dull or just fine. Looked fine when I finished it but after looking at it on different screens it became a bit hard to judge for me..

Spent some time painting this fanart of my favourite manga this weekend, just for fun. I liked One Piece more when it was more focused around adventuring instead of this powering up stuff and overpowering enemies, but I still enjoy reading every new chapter of it. Can't wait for the final arc!

Hi, just finished this artwork. I tried to go a bit further than usual with this and added a more detailed background. Except for her face I'm quite happy with the result.. again learned a lot since I oriented at some splashart references mostly for the effect in the foreground and the overall level of detail. Hope you like it!

Recently finished this one, I had paused for quite a while.. A character design of a member of a resistance group in a steampunk-ish setting. Inspired by ff7. Soon probably more from this idea.
