Hello all~!
I've slowly but surely been getting more serious about my art and trying to find a good place to connect with other artists on the same journey. I'm currently doing a Pin(terest) a day challenge that I would love to share and get feedback on as I continue to progress. I'd love to be a part of other artists' journeys as well so feel free to comment or pm if you need another set of eyes and feedback on your own work ^^

I think this is an image I will revist next year  still see lots of room for improvement

And a few pics from my Pin(terest) a day challenge

I really want to get into doing more landscapes and environmental studies <3
These days I always have my ipad with me so trying to paint more in Procreate, Paintstorm Studio, or MediBang. If I'm not on my ipad I tend to use Clipstudio Paint or force myself to use Paintshop (b/c it is a beast I have not slayed nor fully understand
Anyway thanks for looking and looking forward to getting to know all you creative people on here ^^

Good to see more peoples interested in Landscape, and welcome aboard. First thing I can say is, really solid improvement in your first image.

One thing that could be your next step is making the balcony that the girl is hanging on more defined or believable, and of course the overall landscape of the city as well. But you definitely kept the old scene within the new scene.

I have been throwing this video a lot around, but if you're interested into more in-depth context over ways to do landscapes, check out this video :

Look forward to see how you progress in coming months.

Thanks for the welcome, comments/suggestions, and video recommendation- I'll definitely check that out. I'm excited to see what the next few months hold too ^^ Good luck with your art as well- really enjoying your thumbnails and digital sketchbook~

hey Pixel  thanks for replying on my art blog! I must say your art work is great ! ;D I always struggle to make landscapes because i always want to go directly into details xD well maybe we can help each other out and give each other feedback  btw nice improvement

My pleasure and of course. Looks like you have been very busy too with your art. Hopefully we can be art buddies and encourage and motivate each other to keep improving! ^_^

Definitively ! ^-^ I like the term art buddies :v:

Hehe then I guess it is internet official buddy  All seriousness though I am looking for art friends to improve with. My irl friends are not really art/creatively inclined so they just don't understand why an art store trip haul has me happier than a bottle of wine or why I would spend so much money on a "tablet thingee" (omg the new wacom mobile studio pros) but not a designer bag/jeans/shoes/etc :stuck_out_tongue:
So if there is something I can help you with let me know and I'll try (in November I'll have more time)

Lots of thumbs and the last is one I am playing around with still. In my mind it will be an epic showdown between a crazed pug and afro puff/pigtal girl waving a magical princess wand- yeah.

11 months later

Coming back for some Inktober goodness  decided to do both traditional and digital works and see if people could guess which correctly~
day 1

day 2

I'm a huuuuuuuge Dragon Age fan but I came to the party late and missed out on the beautiful card set deluxe package. Since they made playing cards of them as a warm up I've been using them as studies and having fun recreating them.

Good luck with your own Inktober adventures

13 days later

you've got some really nice stuff here, In particular the face with the black background and the day two of inktober- the card studies also look impressively accurate.
Looking forward to seeing more finished stuff!
