Hello everyone, I'm Plume a self taught artist from Portugal.

Last year when I finished a multimedia course, I was feeling disillusioned so I started to go hard on my drawing. I'm taking the national drawing exam this year to get into college.
I started to go deep into digital recently, and Im making this topic to get off my butt and keep track of my progress.
Please leave critics, I want to become better!

I've finished this yesterday and I feel like I've taken too much time. I actually like the bw version better than the colored one.

Hey awesome job. Excited to see what you do in the future. Not sure why you like the bw one more, but my only thought is that you might like the contrast in the b&w? Maybe you would be able to create more contrast if you made the shadows a cooler color?

Anyway, great job! I tried an example to show you what I'm talking about. Hope you don't mind.

an idea by putting blue airbrush on a soft-light layer. Just overlay your image to compare.

@FITZFACTOR Oh I see! I tweaked around with the color correction before finishing it, but the slight touch of cool colours makes it better, thanks!

Getting out of my comfort zone, forest environments are really scary because of all the small details, not sure how I should render out foliage

haha, really fun studies. You're right, there's a toooon of energy in those drawings. Cartoonists really know how to push the gestures
