22/12 - Term 2 - Bust study and moving to perspective 3 !
Heyo! Back with another study I did some days ago! Combining methods from Ganev, Hampton and Proko to my understanding helps me much more in my study workflows. I raised the difficulty once again by studying the colored reference to produce a greyscale first and then moving to coloring. I am very happy with the result, since I consider my latest works good samples for opening some portrait / bust commissions! Not only that, I see my accuracy improving with time as well, using certain tools / guides even less.
I also did a rough head drawing for the one Marc got in his exercises for anatomy 1. I realize that I produce more blended brushwork as a style, and it looks like my default.
Finally, have some sketches I did a long the way these days (second one is an OC I will develop thoroughly when I get to character design course). It was hard, since I almost fell into depression by the whole AI scam thing. Seeing things progressing by Karla Ortiz's statements, I feel relieved to an extend. But it's a long fight, on which we should hold strong as a community together.
