Just some doodles, they are still so many gaps in my knowledge but i am looking forward to going to term 2 this week. I do appreciate everyone's support, going to put in even more work next year
Good improvement on the figure iteration, maybe her leg and knee are a bit too soft, sometimes adding some angles and lines can actually make the figure look more organic
Loving the angles and smooth curves combinations on those doodles
Cheers!
very nice studies! i really like the last one - the pose looks so dynamic!
she looks like she just won something or landed a shot on some baddy XD
Such a cool looking doodle, really liked it.
Hope everyone had a happy new year. Think I made great strides towards my goals but there is still much that I have to learn and looking forward to many level ups.
Those head constructions are looking beautifulDo note though, that the horizontal plane that cuts the head at the sides would look a little bigger from the front view
I haven't done as much practice on the front view, so appreciate you pointing it out so i can try to get that right
Slick neat line work with your head construction practice!
Great job on these studies. Do note the lack of antitragus in the bottom of many of your antehelices
Cheers
Very nice head constructions, and your ears have nice volumes to them with the added contour lines!, I do have to second what @snakker said about the Antitragus not really being apparent, It's an easy fix though so no worries there, Keep up the good work!.
Thank you both for the advice, I'll take it onboard. Working my way through the assignments then I am going to focus on my weak points. I am definitely going to struggle with shading/blending because i simply haven't done it enough.
