FInally finished this piece! I was quite struggling with the sweater for a long time and redid it over and over! after taking some breaks it finally clicked and I am super happy with the outcome! hope you guys like it

Love this! The colors are gorgeous
One point of critique though, the sleeve looks a little flat. I think the curves should bend even more so it looks like it's wrapping around the arm. Either way, this looks cute.
Is this a commission or do you have a YouTube channel?
Also, do you know/speak Japanese?

yeah I really struggled with the sweater and at one Point I wanted to be done with it! I will definitely keep some more sweater studies on my to do list, as they have by far the most and tricky folds in my opinion.
It's not a commission, it was done for a virtual youtuber called sakura miko who has reached one million subs. I really enjoy her content and its great to watch.
I can speak a bit japanese, which helps to understand her live streams a bit better.

I just checked out the video and that was hilarious lol. So savage and polite at the same time. I need to follow her because I'm trying to learn Japanese more seriously now and this will definitely boost my motivation I've been in Japan for a couple of years now but I can barely hold a conversation

ohhh cool! I'm always happy that I can show more people how funny these vtubers are. She is part of a large group called hololive. there are over 20 now. She is a bit hard to understand sometimes but a few others are really easy to listen to and have funny streams and short clips you can watch to learn

I have started to design a character for a friends IP in a discord server, her name is Eny. I'm still working a bit on the lore/backstory for her. The colour combination with red and brown was given so i tried to make her look a bit cheeky as she is a bit of a mischievous character.
Do you guys get a similar impression or what comes to your mind when you look at the character? also what occupation/class would you give her if this was a game?
I want to know if I achieved what I was going for.

Finally done with the different views for my character! i was definitely challenging, specially the middle one. Making sure that everything lines up correctly and overlays were tricky haha. I very happy with the resul though, I think working on something that is "my own" is very rewarding and no one can tell you that it looks wrong.
I will probably work on the facial expressions and detailed weapon callouts next.
