Hi everyone I'm Raneaa!
I have been using Art School for a few months now already but never created my own Forum entry. So here it is now
When I think back, I started drawing around 2 years ago but it was only around last year that I really picked it up as a part of my daily life and something that I want to really get better at. I plan to pursue education in the art to change my current IT helpdesk job.
It couldn't have been better last year to stumble across Marc's course while being stuck at home.

I hope my art can bring you some joy in the future and I plan on making new friends along the way.

Here is an updated study of a few different clothing pieces i wanted to try out. My goal was to simplify the folds and rendering as much as possible.

Slowly working on more dedicated artworks with clothing. I think for the next couple works I try a different and more simpl rendeirng approach and try something new

I really like your one point. I look forward to seeing your skills grow larger. I grew up on the really adult anime from the 80's and 90's, you know, stuff a 6 year old shouldn't watch. Vampire Hunter D was the first anime I had ever seen followed by Lily Cat. I'd like to see how you would interpret doing a more adult themed/look in anime style.

Oh thank you! I think the oldest anime that I watched as a kid is probably Inuyasha but looking back at 80's & 90's anime it just gives me these cool retro vibes! I keep that suggestion in my backlog for the future

I always wanted to try something teachwear! Still has a few issues but I like where it's going and hopefully I can make a few more complex drawings after this!

thank you! also me neither but i really loved the astethic so a friend introduced me to the proper wording and now i can finally collect a good amount of references and ideas

Just finished my latest drawing! I wanted to experiment with the Teachwear astethic and just explore some new rendering techniques as well. Overall I'm quite happy with the outcome, thanks to a lot of help from people on the discord

I participated in this month's fun discord challenge to create a rocket pin up character. I was really not sure at the start but everyone's great entries kept me motivated! So I decided to go with a character card for a gacha game!
