yo it's been a while : D
I participated in a gift exchange challenge between some fellow art students for Christmas, and I think the result wasn't too bad! I was quite happy to see that I could draw something with all the basic knowledge of the fundamentals (perspective, anatomy, values, composition, light etc.), which I couldn't do as confidently as before! Of course, there probably are some (or alot) inadequate applications of the fundamentals haha
I'm still not 100% satisfied with it, but as about a year of learning art wraps up, I'm glad I have come this far in my art journey!
For those who are interested, I wanted this piece to encourage the other artist I was gifting it to (and actually any learning artist). May we always have that youthful and fresh spirit for drawing even during hard, dull, or unmotivating times!

Woah, your art is already really good so far! I absolutely love how you do eyes and faces, it reminds me of art for Korean webnovels like The Remarried Empress. I'm excited to see how you progress from here.
Your MC is really cute! And your line-art and colouring is really nice, I think you could make a great webtoon at this level.

It's been a stuggle to get my life back together with me attending university, working and getting covid lol
so I haven't been producing as much art as I would like, but so far I've been working on character concept sheets for my webtoon, and working on the 1st chapter.
If I manage to get 1 chapter done each month, I'll have 48 chapters in 4 yrs 😂 😭. Honestly that would be ideal, since I could easily see myself being slower than that. Regardless I'm committed to this project at least for the next 4 yrs!
Below is the MC, but I'm still exploring my art style so the coloring might look diff in the future!

eyy ur art b lookin awesome! excited for your webtoon progress! i can't publish mine yet since im still plotbuilding and want to make the trailers for it first 
oh and draw a worldbuilding artbook to go along with it haha but good for you for just straight up going for it!
