Kind of a self critique. The piece is so old its more of a redrawing then a critique.
I guess I should pick a more recent work to make useful and relevant critiques

Redrawing old pieces can be helpful to see your progress over time, so it can be helpful too

some improvements on Fridays work again because ironically it was the previous thing I did.
Just adjusted the proportions and angles didnt redraw much

Gonna spend the rest of my time today tracing to improve my line quality, I won't be posting any of that because its traced
Next time I do gesture drawing I need to save the references so I can actually fix the mistakes

Working on spotting and fixing my mistakes

I feel like as I have been trying to spot my mistakes, I am able to work on the proportions but I am still drawing symbols

Still symbol drawing and struggling with observation.
Rather than my skill, maybe I just need a better process a step to help me catch my mistakes
rather than noticing after the drawing is done

I have looked a lot into science of learning and so on.
My biggest problem with art progress I think is the following 2 things.
-habitually drawing poorly, I should spend more time on one singular piece making it right rather than reinforcing bad habits over multiple pieces
-Clear way notice mistakes, even if I were to spend more time on one art piece in theory it would only help if I were to be able to notice my mistakes

The difference in learning and repeating is actively working on mistakes
I just struggle to be able to see my own mistakes using my own eyes
Digitally its as simple as overlapping the image
How do I give myself correct feedback to improve?
