To start, I decided to create a new art blog as the last one I made was in August of last year and I have made so much more art progress since then.

So, starting now I'll hopefully start posting more art here that is of a quality I'm proud of and then continue to grow as well.

My first post will be of a book cover I did for a fantasy author. I hope you guys like it.

Morning (or evening to some of you ) Here is another post from me. This was the illustration I did - plus a few post entry tweaks - for the Atomhawk competition "Into the Void". I had so much fun with this as it really pushed the boundaries of what I was capable of as an artist. Really want to attempt something like this again except with more feedback for each of the steps

More WIP and a final character design (sort of) ^_^ I seriously need to start finishing things at this point >.<

And a WIP of a bird character design that I'm currently rendering ^_^ However, I became sidetracked with a Witch design that is on another computer so hope to post that soon.

P.S I am aware of the awful anatomy of the arm it will be fixed in later iterations (probably the next iteration)

Hello! I really like the book cover in your first post. The character's face with light only on the lower part gives it a very mystical atmosphere. I also really love her eyes. Her gaze is just so intense and lifelike.

I'm also looking forward to see the progress of your few latest pieces. They look very promising

Thank you so much ^_^ I'm glad her eyes turned out how I wanted, she has quite a rough story in the first book and so the brief was to create someone who had definitely seen hardship but didn't break because of it.

I'm also looking forward to seeing how my other works progress I think I surprise myself every single time I finish something.

Some more art sketchy dumps ^_^ did a man's face. Wanted to try out a more sketchy and painterly style. Currently struggling with art block at the moment. I'm hoping that I get past it soon as I have some deadlines coming up >.< meep

Another WIP to add to the pile. I wanted to send a question out into the aether so I've been wanting to start painting from colour directly but still keeping my semi-realistic style. I've been really struggling, however, to get the colours to look good and maintain my values. If anyone has any tips for me or resources I could look that it would be a huge help

An actual update on one of my WIPs is here still working away at the book cover, using it as an opportunity to paint completely in colour and really enjoying the experience so far. I had a little meltdown over the fact that I couldn't do colour immediately but feeling a bit better after some practice.

Just keeping up with the progress shots of this illustration. Have other things I've been working on but they're for a secret project that sadly I cannot talk about yet. Let me know what you guys think of the current version of the cover
