Saskia (CasmahCreations) - Art School Journey

Hi everyone!
My name is Saskia and I started Art School this week. I love drawing fantasy art in my sketchbooks but I get more and more requests for commissions for book illustrations etc. But I don’t feel my art is good enough for that (yet). The quality is not consistent and I need to study the basics and fundamentals. In short I’m just not confident enough to take a commission because I can’t guarantee the quality. I really want to learn digital art and turn my sketches into finished artworks.
So that is why I’m here, I’m excited to start this journey.

Time for an update! I'm still in term 1 and here are some of the assignments that I have already done. I still need to wrap up the combining images because I wasn't satisfied with it.
I've also started the daily gesture drawings so I'll share some progress of that soon too.
At the moment I struggle a lot with my wobbly lines, so I guess I just need to practice that a lot. I come from traditional and maybe I just need to get used to working with a wacom. Hope it gets better XD
