Hey there,

I'm trained in all kinds of traditional 3D artwork and animal portraits but would really love to practise the digital route more!
At the moment I mostly practise animal portraits after people that inspired me in daily life.
In my spare time I love to play the violin, bake and practise Pencak Silat (Martial arts). Hope you like what I make and feedback is always welcome!

Me trying out my original character in anime/manga style.
Made this for my followers.

My character with one of the dolls I designed(Kiger helped a lot too) and later crocheted.

WIP of my winter themed doll.
All my dolls contain a wire skeleton in their bodies.

Designed and crocheted Hamburger girl. There are 2 tiny hamburgers that go with it but aren't in this picture.
I first drew a couple of sketches and looked up hamburgers, then made sure the composition of colours were right and started the design. Whole process of designing, writing a patterns and finishing the doll was about 2 weeks, I think?

This one I made way before. Somewhere last year.
Inspired by my sister's rabbit that unfortunately died by the hands of our vet. I had a lot of fun designing her and will stay an inspiration for future projects.

Little miniature eel made from polymer clay. This was on commission. The details were hand painted after baking.

Miniature black baby axolotls! These are as big as my thumb nail! These turned into necklaces after baking.

Poured resin around it to create a water drop effect.

I enjoyed creating these critters so much, because I used to own an axolotl until a few years ago! Mine was anatomically incorrect which I liked most. He was missing toes on one leg and had too many on another.

A scene from the story of my comic character and her dolls. At the same time a light study.
This was for a free school project but didn't get approved, because she looked too mature.

Coloured sketch of my nightmare. His mouth is very large when opened and can swallow you whole. Inside his mouth there's only complete darkness.

The yellow doll was inspired by the new Pokemon Mimikyu! I hope it's visible enough. ^^"

The raven was a painterly study and taken from reference a bit.

The gold fish is actually my very first painterly digital painting. Inspired by a person I know. I wanted to capture his personality in this painting. Can't handle much pain, loves Rembrandt, he's pretty and well groomed. Fragile like this gold fish.

Sculpting with fabric? ^^ Used viscose as fabric which is actually made from trees!

This lion was a HUGE project for me. Each stroke and hair was created individually. It took me over 2 weeks to complete! Very happy with the results, though!

Finished Lion painting!

Started a fox painting after I got inspired by a person but never finished it...

Started another fox! Partly worked on it during an Art School stream!

Colour and painterly study. Japanese tree in a forest. Painted from a reference photo.

Painted my canvas black with the Black 2.0, the blackest black paint in the world! It'll need a second coating soon and after 48 hours it will have reached its darkest colour.

Here's a comparison with regular high quality black acrylic paint. It may not look that dark yet but believe me, it is pitch black in real life! Especially after another coat + 48 hours!

Awesome blog! I don't think I ever saw what you did before so it's really cool to finally see your work.

I especailly love your dolls. They're really cute and they all have such nice designs. It's also a nice change of pace from the things we usually find on here. It's also nice to see the variety of mediums you use. It's really inpiring!

I try to master as many mediums as I can since I can't choose one over the other. I just don't like metal. Besides metal I use everything else. ^^

1st layer of paint is done! Never done a sketch with finished under layer in less than an hour! Really happy with the progress!
Unfortunately the colours on my IMac look very different than on my Mobile Studio Pro... T^T

Ps. This is my dog's 'brother'. I had to give my border collie mix that looks like a wolf, away because his health was worsening in the noisy city. This painting is for his new owners. ^^ Will make one of Wolfie soon.

Worked on this tiny Hello Kitty and did some needle sculpting at the same time. So hard to make it super tiny!! I promised myself never again but am already planning on making other family members... ^^"

(Crocheted with a size 1,5mm hook and mercerised cotton yarn.)

You´re little dolls you make are really really cute
For the paintings. They look really good especially the texture on the lions face
I would be careful with the perspective, because i think the nose of the lion might be a bit off.
And i don´t know if it is just unfinished or if you did in on purpose, but try to go with the most details in the area of the focal point and slowly get less detailed in areas where there shouldn´t be too much of a focus.
You kinda did that but it is quite extreme so going with a little more details in the Mane would go along way. Also instead of having justa flat color for the background give it atleast some color and little hue variations

I like to have a black background because I mostly use animal portraits as reference with a black background, because I love photos taken in a dark studio. ^^ Like this for example.

For the nose I'm 99,9% sure I measured it right with a ruler but now I can't find the original photo back on my pc. Will take a look at it again.

I don´t know too much about animals to be honest but that kinda seems like the perspective that is going on and the nose doesnt quite fit it.
But it could be that it gets sort of distorted when the head is turning.

And there is nothing against the dark background but just some subtle color variations might make it a little bit more intresting

Thanks! I always overlay the original photo in case proportions aren't right. But I still can't find the original photo. It's been almost a year ago when I made this painting.
