Posting it here as a shout-out and praise to @marc for showing me the world of handpainting through graient maps with his tutorials!
Before I saw those techniques, I specialized in hard-surface realistic modeling and thought that handpaint is demigod business for those with proper art education, and I never could get anywhere close.
Now my skills are still lame, but at least I've found my passion, which I'm moving forward to!
I really appreciate your efforts in art popularization!
I'm quite pleased with the result but I welcome all constructive critique and advice on improvement, so you're all welcome to share yours!
