Hello! My name is Ashton Sneed, also known as SkullaDesignArt on social media channels as well. I'm from Connecticut, USA. I've been drawing for as long as I remember trying to fill in sketchbooks, both digital and physical throughout the years but I didn't take art super serious until 2019.

As of right now, I'm primarily self taught with like 0 feedback on where I need to go as an Illustrator. I have dreams and goals to be a character design, concept artist and also work in video games and comics as well. I don't really see an improvement in my work and I'm looking for that pathway to get there.

If i had to say what sort of art goal I personally have, it is to get my art to look like that of a Capcom Street Fighter Artist who I admire like Bengus and Akiman, but to also make a portfolio that even Capcom, or any fighting game developer would want to look at and go "Wow, this guy has got it."

Below is some of the past art I've done in 2020 and 2021.

I'm going to be taking the Art School Program from the beginning, focusing on Nude Figure Drawing 1st though, since I feel like I can go to understand my CSP (Clip Studio) section anytime.

Welcome to the forums! This is an amazing start off point and I feel like you will get a lot from the art school classes. I like how you're not just drawing character art but including elements of storytelling and background as well. I need to start doing that more haha.. can't wait to see your progress!

Hey Ashton! I just started my Art School journey as well  Just want to say I hope we'll meet our goals, and I wish you the best! Let's do this 💪

Finished watching the Visual Communications video and went onto doing the assignment, in order to actually get the gains with improvement. I decided to do Observation studies, 30 minutes of life, 30 minutes of an artist's work, and then 15 to 30 minutes of drawing from imagination.

I recommend watching Manga Materials video on studying, while input is important, so is output, so make sure you not only take in that information but practice and apply it was well.

I've given myself a deadline of 28 days on this assignment, so 3 days down,

Welcome Ashton, I am new also! You have a ton of skills already and can imagine how good they will be once refined! Keep it up.

Day 4, 5 and 6. So I'm moving onto the next thing which is Photoshop Introduction which I've been told I will blaze right on through so can't wait.

So I did the first part of the Photoshop for Digital Production but it seems like most of the assignments are undoable with Clip Studio sadly, so I guess I'll move onto Gesture Drawing/ Nude Figure.
