Heyo, sup yall. Just bought term 1 and just finished the first of the general schedule quick gesture from ~imagination~ woo, not the best but hey we here to learn (i got my days mixed up but i've decided that's okay). About to start the lectures, finished the welcome and visual communication earlier though, is it a good idea to watch the lessons each day or work through them throughout the week & etc.? how do you guys go about them?.

Hey there, snakker here, local noob, Welcome aboard!
I am currently on term 2, my recommendations from what I have learned:

  1. have fun and post on the forums :smiley: The community is very nice and you can learn a lot
  2. Take your time with all the lessons and assignments. There are so many things to learn and everything is very valuable. Go as fast or as slow as you feel comfortable
  3. Don't one off the assignments unless they are way too easy for you at your level. And definitely do your gestures
  4. Use reference

Hi, spellcrell!

I'm new here too, but welcome aboard to the art school & its forum. You've got a nice lead on the imaginative quick gestures. Like snakker mentioned: learn at your own pace. For me, I personally watch only one lecture every week and then improve my drawing skill using the 9 - 6 edition schedule.
